Hospital Corners.
This is coming from someone who filled both those pairs of shoes. I have vivid memories of learning this 'by the numbers' in boot camp. Then being reminded of them during our 'orientation' week as a 'first year'.
I honestly can't decide which was more 'crisp'. I think the hospital corner evolved and was passed on from someone like myself. Someone who walked the halls of a hospital and donned a pair of 'jungle boots'.
Either way this video does a good job of explaining the creation of the hospital corner.
Just imagine, in boot camp, you had this down to a reflex. I think I remember getting 'er dun in less time than it took me to get dressed.
Ahh.. the nightmares memories. Heh heh.
